November 13, 2020 – Director of Operations of Afrah Ophans Education Mr. Adan Awale from Toronto Canada visits Afrah Orphanage Education Center in Daynile District of Somalia.
The director’s visit was to assess the learning situation at the center and to review the curriculum and subjects taught to the students.
The director was warmly welcomed by the administration, teachers and students, as the administration toured all the classrooms of the center, and explained the progress of the learning activities and the entire process of the center.
The director interviewed the teachers one by one about their general situation and the activities and subjects they teach, then he went into each class and talked to the students, and he felt the educational needs of these students, he promised that he would change the situation to the best of his ability.
Afterwards, fulfilling his promise to have lunch with the students and teachers, a luncheon was held for the students, teachers, administration and other dignitaries who attended the luncheon.
It was a happy day at the center, and the students showed incredible joy. Finally, the director thanked the administration, teachers and students for their efforts and urged the students to know that they are the future of the country.
